Need Help?

Good News Homes is here to help you and your family find safe, habitable housing. We provide two types of housing, Transitional Housing and Rapid Re-Housing. As part of our Transitional Housing ministry we will help counsel you on finances, relationships, spiritual life, job skills and other services as needed. While staying with us you will be required to meet certain milestones to help provide you with a better life after leaving us. You will also be expected to pay a low-cost rent, maintain the property in the same condition as when you moved in and adhere to our rules as laid out at the time of your application approval. Rapid Re-housing is a rent assistance program where you will be placed in rental properties not owned by us. This requires that you be living on the street, or in your car, or other places not suitable for habitation; emergency shelter; hotel paid by a charity. You will be expected to meet the guidelines set forth by the Landlord or property owner in which we are providing rental assistance.

Good News Homes has limited space for Transitional Housing which means that we will review your application, drug assessment and background check as well as any documentation of your situation and determine if you meet our guidelines for housing. Rapid Re-Housing is a government funded program which comes out annually and only lasts until those funds are depleted for that calendar year. There is a waiting list and government requirements that must be met in order to qualify.
