We Bought a Building!

In November of 2024, we purchased a 12-unit, 2 bedroom, 1 bath building in LaGrange, right behind our other Anchor Avenue Property. Current residents were offered to enter our transitional housing program so we could help them transition into permanent housing. Those that chose not to enter the program were given over six months to find alternative housing and a few families chose to stay.

Construction began at the beginning of 2025 with the Crossroads Ministry team who replaced floor joists that were damaged. Our own “Old Man Crew” will be painting, replacing doorframes, and working on installing any needed cabinets and appliances in the hopes that we will have a few units done in the summer of 2025.

This purchase adds 12 units to our Transitional Housing Program, making a total of 26 transitional housing units to house singles and families for six to twelve months while working with them to move on to permanent housing in the community.
